Skol! This is life and she is a beautiful war to fight and fight for as well. The Norsemen of ancient times knew only two options – victory or Valhalla!
For if you win this battle, you will be chosen to rule the land. If you die in battle, a paradise – Valhalla – awaits you to honor the valiant, nevertheless. Either way, you are immortal unless you choose to surrender or flee.I wouldn’t choose the latter too.
How many times did you as a child fall in an attempt to get up and walk? Do you even remember? How many times were you heartbroken as a child? Did you ever give up?
We were never afraid to learn, grow, and aspire when we were infants. Understand, we aren’t the survivors – we are warriors! We defend anything and everything we love and stand for.
The gods of war are by our side when we choose to fight bravely. This doesn’t entail being devoid of fear. This means, perceiving that fear as excitement and charging ahead as if we have nothing to lose.
Because we really have nothing to lose. We never came into this world with anything and we shall leave just as empty-handed. Immortality lies is living your dream and creating your own reality.
Anyone and everyone who laughs at you and your dreams today shall labor away one to build your fortress. Smile at them because it’s an employer’s policy. They needn’t see the big picture if they choose not to. But you have a choice to make – see your dream coming true or watch someone else realize your dream while you build their empire with brick and mortar.
If you are reading this blog, know that thousands of sperms tried to reach an egg but you alone were Michael Phelps. You alone! Why quit now?
You don’t have to believe in your dream or make it come true. Your dream is you and you are true. Be yourself and believe in yourself. Live your dream. That’s all it takes.
Will you live today or at some indefinite time in the future. Make your choice, but either way, the war is here. Victory or Valhalla?
