“People always ask me, what about if my family is negative? What do I do then? I tell them- Well obviously, you can’t disassociate yourself from your family, so if your family is negative just don’t talk to them about your dreams. Just work on your dreams and let the results speak for you.”- Ruben Gonzalez.
I am truly inspired by the story of Ruben Gonzalez and wanted to share about this book with all of you.I have recently finished reading the book – “The courage to succeed by Ruben Gonzalez” and want to share the conspectus from the book as written by Ruben Gonzalez.
Most of the notes I have jotted down myself using Evernote application on my handset and few of them are clicked in the form an image so that I can highlight it here on the blog. Whether you’re a sports person, a student, someone who wants to come out of debt, hungry for success, I assure you the learnings mentioned here will immensely add to your courage, belief, and passion and it is really inspiring for everyone. Ruben’s story speaks about a normal human being from nowhere becoming – The Olympian and then turned into a full-time Author,peak-performance expert, and a Motivational speaker.Ruben has been endorsed by personal development industry experts like Zig Ziglar, Dr.Stephen R Covey, Dave Ramsey and much more.

Then when we get a job and our boss tells us what to do. It seems like there’s always somebody telling us what to do. We start drifting our life instead of our future.
20.Leaders in every field agree that there is a shortage of people who get things done; people who fit results. That is great news. It’s an opportunity for all of us. What that means is that, if you want to move up in your field, all you have to do is to start getting results. So how do you do that? By becoming a person of action. Massive action! Stress comes from not doing what you know you should be doing.
