Your mental attitude matters, it makes a difference! But in order to live life on your terms without any external distractions, you have to “first” understand that we live in a world which often is negative.
Suppose you sit in a restaurant for about 5 minutes trying to decide what it Is that you gonna have, and after 5 mins you try to get the waiter or waitress’s attention and then their reaction ” can’t you see I’m busy? I’ll get to you as quick as I can, bite my head off about it if you wish to” now my question is do you let her pull you down to her level? or do you understand that their attitude has got nothing to do with you?
Suppose you are stuck in traffic on your way to work with blocks of traffic in front and behind you and someone behind you repeatedly honks and yells at you “hey move a little forward I’m late can’t you see traffic is terrible?” Do you understand that it’s got nothing to do with you or you gonna let them pull you down to his level? I need you to understand something which is very crucial to understand here, you see the poorest man alive, as well as the richest man alive, have got so much in common, every human being alive suffers disappointments, pain, setbacks, defeat, frustrations and many more all of their lives, but the difference is how they react to circumstances, how we react to circumstances shall define our ultimate destiny. We might not be able to temper with the whether using our minds, we might also not be able to change circumstances, how people treat or react to our kindness with our minds, but what we totally in control of is how we respond to circumstances and that’s what matters!
That’s how winners begin the journey of greatness, we have got to start thinking outside the box and create a life we deserve, start working on your mental attitude! Make your mark on this world!
